Ruby Sevcik

Ruby was most recently seen at Chicago’s Raven Theatre originating the role of Sophie in the world premier staged reading of MERGER, written by Cassidy McDonnell and Marten Hoekstra, and directed by Susan Bowen. This summer, Ruby invited a deep sense of play into her work with the company of Midsommer Flight, acting in Love’s Labour’s Lost as Jaquenetta/Moth/Musician throughout the Chicago Parks District. She began to make her mark as a singer/songwriter in the summer of 2024, debuting original music at Raven Theatre in collaboration with The Outer Loop’s Talk Hard: Chicago. She values connection over everything and is passionate about nature, vintage clothing, and friendship.
